Water Extraction, Las Vegas

TRIMEX being used to show how far the water had wicked up the wall

The owner of this vacant condo had the water turned on to the unit and when he got inside he heard water spraying.  He ran to the bathroom and saw massive amounts of water being released from the angle stop behind the toilet.  He turned the water off and immediately called his insurance company.  SERVPRO of Southwest Las Vegas was recommended to go out and within a half hour the crew was extracting water and setting equipment. SERVPRO of Southwest Las Vegas knows the importance of getting out ASAP and in this case they were able to save a lot of areas from being removed.  In the photo it shows one of our moisture readers, the trimex, being used to detect how far the water had wicked up the wall.
